Family of Christ Lutheran Church is a 6,600 square foot church located on the north side of Imlay City Road just east of M-53 in Imlay Township. The project consisted of a new church building with associated parking and entrance, a new detention pond, and a pumped septic treatment system. The planning and design process for most churches introduces a level of committee and board involvement that may involve many lay members in the land development process. While it may slow the development process, this involvement is critical to the success of the overall project. It is very important to have design professionals involved who are familiar and comfortable with a committee or board driven development process.
